Sebrose

By promising young sire Sebring, out of the Group 1 NZ Oaks' winner Bramble Rose - Sebrose was bought by David Ellis from the Gold Coast Sale for $230,000.

Unplaced in three trials in 2013, David always knew this horse had the promise and the physique to develop into a lovely stayer so the decision was made to send him to Singapore to be trained by Te Akau Singapore trainer Mark Walker.

He flourished in Singapore with his career highlight being the Group 3 El Dorado Classic which he won over 2200m on 25 October 2015 when ridden by  NSW rider Timothy Bell.

Sebrose has raced 16 times for five wins and eight placings with stakes now exceeding S$320,000.
