Te Akau New Zealand has two horses racing on Thursday December at Ellerslie (twilight meeting) - Barfoot and Thompson Jockeys' World Cup 2018.

5.50 p.m. R3 3 Fabulous Flight (4 g I Am Invincible - Court Flying) - Michael Dee; raced handily and wound up strongly to win the Maiden 1400 metres on 28 November at Rotorua, given Slow7 footing. His form in four prior starts had been solid and he can step up to prove competitive in the $27,500 Rating 65 1600 metres.

7.05 p.m. R5 1 Mazzuro (4 g Rip Van Winkle - Mini Pearl) - Sam Weatherley; has trialled very well recently at Avondale and Matamata respectively, and resumes in the $30,000 Rating 72 1500 metres. From a classy family, he campaigned very well through the autumn in Melbourne, winning twice to 2100 metres and registering a second and third from four starts, and shapes to prove competitive fresh-up.
