Te Akau Hastings Preview
Te Akau New Zealand has three horses racing on Sunday 11 November at Hastings.

As on Saturday 10 November the conditions were: cloudy and Dead5, rail out 6 metres.

2.15 p.m. R3 8 She's Not Bad (4 m He's Remarkable - Andra) - Shafiq Rusof; tracked into proceedings before being checked and finished sixth when resuming in the Rating 65 1200 metres on 26 October at Pukekohe, having stylishly won her only previous start over 1400 metres in March at Avondale. She rates an each way chance despite a wide draw (12) in the $10,000 Rating 65 1300 metres.

2.50 p.m. R4 7 Mongolian Angel (3 f I Am Invincible - Pipette) - Shafiq Rusof; finished back in the field when debuting in the Maiden 1200 metres on 25 October at Waipukurau, and drawn barrier one in the $10,000 Maiden 1300 metres. Prior to racing, she won a 1050-metre trial at Taupo, without being fully extended, and an improved performance should be forthcoming.

4.00 p.m. R6 1 Don'tblamethemusic (5 g Coats Choice - Blame the Music) - Nik Bakar (a4); followed consecutive wins with a second to subsequent impressive winner Supera (Savabeel) in the Rating 72 1400 metres on 17 October at Te Aroha, ridden by Bakar in all three, and receives weight relief to 58.5kgs in the $11,000 Rating 72 1200 metres. Having won five from 11, including a third and fourth from two starts on the course, he has early pace to negate barrier 10 and rates an each way chance.
