Te Akau New Zealand has one horse racing on Wednesday 16 August at Ruakaka.

As on Tuesday 15 August the conditions were: cloudy and Dead5, rail out 5 metres. No rain forecast.

12.35 p.m. R1 4 Wandering Eye (3 g Commands - Adulterer) - Cameron Lammas; makes his debut from barrier five in the $10,000 Maiden 3YO 1000 metres. He won his trial over 820 metres on 1 August at Te Teko, after beginning smartly to lead and quickening to an advantage when asked at the 200m. His dam, Adulterer (Traditionally), was a dual winner over 1200 metres in Australia, and grand-dam It's My Sin (Success Express) won impressively up to 1400 metres before proving her talent at stud when leaving twelve individual winners of 39 races. He has continued to improve through the trials' stage and is now looking to transfer the ability on race day.
