Te Akau horses racing at Kranji racecourse in Singapore, where 2015 and 2017 Premiership winning trainer Mark Walker has recorded 34 wins, 38 second and 37 third placings since 1 January - including a Group 1 quinella in the Charity Bowl to add to the season's two Group 2 victories.  He currently lies third on the Trainers' Premiership.

10.50 p.m. R2 4 Axel (3 g Darci Brahma - Josephines Fortune) - Mohamad Firdaus (a1); draws barrier four of 12 in the $85,000 Restricted Maiden 1200 metres on the turf and carries 51.5kgs. The son of multiple Singapore Champion Sire has pleased in training, is ideally drawn and is weighted to rate a top four chance.

11.20 p.m. R3 8 Storm Trooper (7 g Tavistock - Shock) - Razali Zawari (a3); draws barrier 10 of 11 in the $60,000 Class 4 1400 metres on the turf and carries 53kgs. The blinkers go back on and ridden positively, he rates a top four chance.

1.25 a.m. R7 2 Ancient Warrior (6 g Iffraaj - Nuance) - Vlad Duric; draws barrier eight of 11 in the $80,000 Class 3 1200 metres on the polytrack and carries 56.5kgs. He meets a stronger field than first up when finishing second, but has been kept on the fresh side and thus presents as a top five chance.
