Saturday 17 February

5.50 p.m. R1 5 SUPER GENIUS - App Mohamad Firdaus (a1); the first runner for the stable this evening lines up in the Class 4 non-premier 1100m on the polytrack, drawing the ace with 53.5kgs thanks to the apprentice 1kg claim.  Facing a field of 10 tonight, she does need to improve.

6.20 p.m. R2 3 AMANZOE - Vlad Duric; last season Champion Trainer combines with the season's Champion Rider in the Restricted Maiden 2&3YO WFA 1200m on the turf long course A.  Unfortunately he cops the outside draw (11 of 11) and carries 57kgs.  A 3YO by Stratum , who carries the famous Trelawney colours, he was good on debut for second and has his third Singapore start tonight - one of two in the race for Mark Walker. He was unfortunately caught wide last time from a wide gate, which he has struck again tonight - will be ridden back and patiently, a top four chance.

6.20 p.m. R2 8 VENUS DE MILO - Ismail Azhar; the stablemate in this S$85,000 event fares much better draw-wise (2) and has 55.5kgs on her back.  A daughter of Burgundy, who looks likely to sire this season's NZB Filly of the Year in New Zealand, she needs to improve on performances to date.

6.50 p.m. R3 4 BEN GUNN - Craig Grylls; on debut in this Class 4 non-premier on the turf long course A, he too draws the carpark for this 1200m event (10 of 10) and with the Kiwi rider, carries 55.5kgs.  Raced by the Lucky Stable, he shapes as a horse that will look for more distance.

7.50 p.m. R5 9 BIG REGARDS - Vlad Duric; a son of Darci Brahma, who was a winner three starts ago, he draws midfield (6 of 12) and has 54kgs allocated in the Class 5 1400m on the turf long course A.  He finds a suitable race here - top four prospect.

8.20 p.m. R6 8 SACRED SURFER - App Noorman Hanafi (a4); with the apprentice aboard, this 5YO by Choisir will carry 52kgs for the Class 4 Premier 1200m on the turf long course A.  He starts with the plum draw (1 of 8) for the S$60,000 event.  Racing in the colours of Raffles' Racing, he needs to lift.

8.50 p.m. R7 5 NORTHERN KNIGHT - App Noorman Hanafi (a4); two starters for the stable with the first taking benefit of a maximum apprentice claim for the Class 3 1200m on the polytrack.  This 6YO draws the outside gate in the field of nine and drops to just 49.5kgs.  He put up a good effort when runner up when last presented and, coming in here fresh tonight, he looks a place chance.

8.50 p.m. R7 7 STORM TROOPER - App Mohamad Firdaus (a1); a horse that would appreciate some rain, this son of Tavistock draws barrier six of the nine runners and carries 51.5kgs with the claim.  He too comes in fresh and also rates a place chance.

11.00 p.m. R11 3 TURQUOISE KING - App Mohamad Firdaus (a1); to close the evening another double representation for the stable in the Class 3 1100m on the polytrack.  The first rep. bounces from gate five with 56kgs allocated. A 7YO, he will be more competitive when returned to Class 4 company.

11.00 p.m. R11 5 ANCIENT WARRIOR - Vlad Duric; the final stable runner is looking very close to a winning turn with two smart second placings from his last two starts.  He draws to advantage (3 of 11) and has 55.kgs to carry.  A 5YO by gun sire Iffraaj, he comes in fresh,m is in tip top order - top four chance.
