6.20 p.m. R4 5 CLUTHA LAD - Olivier Placais; an awkward draw (nine of 10) for the first of two stable runners in this Class 4 1700m on the polytrack.  Weighted with 55.5kgs, this honest son of Thorn Park is an older horse now and may need to drop a grade to return to the winners' circle.

6.20 p.m. R4 9 Q NINE MAXIM - App CK Ng (a3); the second Mark Walker runner in this event has drawn much better (3) and with the apprentice claim has the dangerous featherweight of 47.5kgs.  He poses a dangerous light weight chance in what is an open race.

6.20 p.m. R5 3 STARSKY - App CK Ng (a3); Mark Walker has three stable runners - almost half the field - in this NZRB Trophy Novice SW 1100m on the polytrack.  Featuring a line-up of seven chasing the S$75,000 stake, Starsky has drawn barrier five and carries joint top weight of 58 kgs.  He may need an easier race to be competitive.

6.20 p.m. R5 6 DISTINCTIVE DARCI - D David; this son of Darci Brahma, multiple Champion Sire of Singapore, arrived in Singapore with a quiet reputation.  He duly delivered don that, winning stylishly last start.  The second of Mark Walker's trio in this Novice affair, he has drawn best at three and carries just 51kgs.  He is in great form and rates a strong winning chance.

6.20 p.m. R5 7 HELLO MICHELLE - I Azhar; the final of the trio, this daughter of the formerly Te Akau trained Minstrel Court also has a dangerous light weight - 50kgs and has drawn gate seven.  She has already saluted the judge in Singapore as a 2YO and shapes a top four chance as she is always competitive in a race like this.
