Sunday 19 August 2018

6.55 p.m. R4 4 Lord Of Light (4 g Power - Danwood) - Vlad Duric; draws barrier eight of 11 in the $20,000 Maiden 1200 metres on the polytrack and carries 57kgs. He trained well during the week and rates a strong top three chance.

7.30 p.m. R5 7 Venus De Milo (4 m Burgundy - Breezed) - Ryan Curatolo; will jump from barrier two of 12 in the $20,000 Class 5 1600 metres on the polytrack, with 55.5kgs on her back.  She improved with her first run over a mile and presents as a top four chance.

9.05 p.m. R8 1 Distinctive Darci (5 g Darci Brahma - Distinctive Lass) - Vlad Duric; unfortunately a wide draw for this top horse ... he will break from barrier 11 of 12 in the $125,000 Kranji A 1100 metres on the polytrack and carries 59.5kgs. A class horse on the poly and is a top four chance despite carrying top weight from a wide barrier.

9.35 p.m. R9 11 Bringer of War (4 m Burgundy - Eclectic Heights) - Choon Ng (a3); draws barrier six of 12 in the $80,000 Class 3 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 49.5kgs. A smart last start winner, she faces a tougher assignment, but is in good form to rate a top five chance.
