Te Akau Singapore Tuesday Preview

Te Akau horses racing at Kranji racecourse in Singapore, where 2015 and 2017 Premiership winning trainer Mark Walker has recorded 37 wins, 51 second and 45 third placings since 1 January - including a Group 1 quinella in the Charity Bowl to add to the season's two Group 2 victories.  He currently lies fourth on the Trainers' Premiership.

Tuesday 25 September 2018 - International Jockey Night

10.55 p.m. R2 8 Moment of Justice (6 g Daliapour - Fleety Moments) - Benny Woodworth; draws barrier 8 of 12 in the $38,000 Kranji D 1800 metres on turf and carries 56.5kgs. He appreciates a wet track, and rates a top four chance in a field where Mark Walker lines up two starters.

10.55 p.m. R2 9 O'Reilly Star (5 g O'Reilly - Starbelly) - Robert Havlin; the second for the stable will jump from barrier 10 of 12 and carries 56.5kgs. He would be well-placed on a rain-affected track, and rates a top four chance.

11.30 p.m. R3 13 Lim's Reform (7 g O'Reilly - Pretty) - rider to be advised; draws barrier 7 of 12 in the $80,000 Kranji C 1200 metres on turf and carries 55kgs. He currently sits first on the ballot and may not make the field.

12.05 a.m. R4 8 Lim's Knight (6 g Kaphero - Solamina) - Hugh Bowman; unfortunately  copes the outside barrier (12) in the $80,000 Kranji C 1200 metres on turf with 56.5kgs on his back. He would be more competitive if it rains and the track has plenty of give.

1.15 a.m. R6 2 Heartlight (4 g Any Suggestion - Cross Quarry) - Razali Zawari (a1); has also landed an outside barrier (8) in the $45,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the poly track and is allotted 55.5kgs. This is first race on the poly, and he rates a top four chance.

1.55 a.m. R7 8 Success Come True (5 m Alamosa - Falaniella) - Hanafi Noorman (a4); will break from gate 2 of 11 in the $38,000 Kranji D 1200 metres on turf and carries 52.5kgs - with the advantage of the apprentice claim, she rates a top four chance from the good draw.
