Te Akau New Zealand has one horse racing on Sunday 13 August at Te Aroha.
As on Saturday 12 August the conditions were: overcast and Heavy10, rail out 10 metres. 5mls rain forecast Saturday and 2mls race day.
3.31 p.m. R6 15 Esprit De Corps (5 g Bel Esprit - Vercors) - Troy Harris; never fired over 1350 metres on 12 July at Avondale, and had no chance from last after beginning slowly in the Rating 65 1200 metres on 26 July at Matamata. He won his Maiden here by nearly four lengths on Heavy10 over 1400 metres in June last year, has a senior rider aboard and blinkers on, but, at present, he requires three horses to scratch in order to make the field for the $10,000 Rating 65 1400 metres.
