Matamata - Course Proper:


Echezeaux (Cameron) worked over 1000 metres in 1.05.7, last 600 in 38.9. The Pencarrow Stud owned mare will resume next Wednesday 2 October at Avondale in the Rating 70 1580 metre event.


A pair preparing for the Melbourne Cup Day meeting at Ellerslie, Vive La Difference (Cameron) and Foreigner (McNab) worked over 1000 metres, ran its last 600 in 38.7. Vive La Difference (Choisir) will resume in the Rating 85 1400 metre race and Foreigner (Savabeel) will contest the Maiden 3YO 1400 metre event.


Primrose (Cameron) and Shocking Luck (Lammas) covered 1000 metres in 1.08, last 600 in 38.5. They were followed by Beaumarchais (McNab) who ran similar times. The trio will all be nominated for the Avondale meeting next Wednesday.



No.2 Sand:


Maleficent (Tan) and Epic Tale (Fawcett) worked over 1000 metres in 1.17, last 600 in 45.5.


Stolen Love (K. Price) ran 1000 metres in 1.15, last 600 in 45.


Summer Monsoon (McNab) worked in company with Colorado Prince (Pinn) over 800 metres in 57.1.


Chambord (McNab) covered 800 metres in 1.01, last 600 in 44.


Paradise Rock (Leveque) worked over 1200 metres, running his last 1000 metres in 1.10, 600 in 41.4 while King Kane (McNab) looked good working on his own over 1000 metres in 1.15, last 600 in 45.



Riccarton:


Heroic Valour (Miller) and Imperium (Didham) worked over 1000 metres on the grass in 1.11, last 600 in 37.


Hall Of Fame (Miller) ran 1000 metres in 1.14.8 and Seirios (Miller) worked with a partner over 800 metres in 54.7.


Last start winner Tavis Star (Miller) ran 1000 metres in 1.16.7.



Flemington:


Shillelagh (K. Jones) worked over 1000 metres in 1.05, last 600 in 37. She has been nominated for two races on Melbourne Cup day at Flemington, with the preference being to run in the Group Three Hong Kong Jockey Club Stakes over 1400 metres, where Joao Moreira will ride.
