Te Akau track work highlights - Thursday 17 January -

 

Very thick fog prevented many times being taken

 

Course Proper:

On track to contest the Group 1 Telegraph at Trentham on Saturday, Melody Belle (S Rusof) galloped over 1000 metres. She was followed by She's Not Bad (J Kamaruddin) who prepares to race at Te Rapa on Sunday.

In readiness for the Group 3 Desert Gold Stakes, also at Trentham on Saturday, Savy Yong Blonk (J Nason) galloped nicely over 1200 metres.

Golden Age (D Miller) and Jet Set (N Bakar) paired up to gallop over 1000 metres.

 

No.2 Sand:

Heading to the Group 3 Mongolian Khan on Karaka Million night at Ellerslie, Sword Of Osman (C Burdan) worked with Full Of Grace (N Bakar) on their own at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, running the last 600 in 46.

Burgundy Belle (S Rusof) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15, last 600 in 45.

Kylie Bax (J Bragg) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres.
