Te Akau trackwork highlights - Thursday 12 November - 

Plough:

Preparing for the Rating 75 1600 metres on Saturday at Tauranga, Osmunda (Hercock) ran 1000m at three-quarter pace.

Chambord (Hercock) and Love Triangle (Zac-Syed) worked together from the 800m at three-quarter pace, running home an easy 400m. They clocked 51.9 and last 600m in 37.4.

Maestro (Shailer) and Paradise Rock (Ritchie) went 1000m in 1:04.5, last 600m 37.5.

Niamh Elizabeth (Lammas) ran an easy 1000m in 1:07, last 600m in 38.2.

Lady Jasmine (Fawcett) and Sylvia's Special (Hanafi) ran 600m in 38.4.

Arpeggio (Zac-Syed) and Beacon of Hope (Vaneckova) went an easy 800m, as did Gardenier (Lammas). Astrid (Coleman) and Our Drahma Queen (Lammas) 1000m easy, Affinee (Zac-Syed) and 3 g El Hermano - Santiga Lass (Lammas) easy 800m.

Plough, three-quarter pace:

Ekraarstatic (Lammas) 1600m, Corporate Missile (Lammas) and Lucy Wyldstyle (Zac-Syed) 600m, Latin Rose (Lammas) and O'Know (Zac-Syed) 800m, Bon Marche (Lammas) 1000m.

2 f Mastercraftsman - Lynisky (Vaneckova) and 2 f Alamosa - Falaniella (Zac-Syed) 600m, 2 f Jimmy Choux - Love Me Not (Lammas) and 2 f Redwood - Volks Princess (Hanafi) 600m.

2 f Showcasing - Something Majic (Fawcett) 600m, Hyacinth (Zac-Syed) and 2 g Saperavi - A La Votre (Vaneckova) worked as  trio over 600m.

All-weather track, three-quarter pace:

Hushed (Hanafi) went 1200m.

Vive La Difference (Miller) worked over 1200m at three-quarter in preparation for the Rating 85 1800 metres on Saturday at Riccarton. Welcome Stakes (Listed, 1000m) favourite Sassy ‘N' Smart (Miller) went 800m at three-quarter pace.

The five remaining runners for Saturday are all ready to go: Madame Jamai (Minstrel Court) and Flaming (Bachelor Duke) each contest the Rating 75 1200 metres, while Risque (Darci Brahma), Special Memories (Fastnet Rock) and Princess Davone (Iffraaj) run in the $300,000 1000 Guineas (Gr. 1, 1600m).
