2:13 p.m. R3 1 Valentine (3 g Turn Me Loose – Fastnet Rose) – Warren Kennedy; he resumed with a victory in the 3YO 1200 metres on 16 March at Tauranga, and worked forward to lead before being collared at the 200m in the 3YO 1200 metres on 14 April at Te Rapa. He is ideally drawn (3) to bounce back with an improved performance in the $17,000 3YO 1100 metres. Fixed odds: $4.50 & $1.75.

4:23 p.m. R7 4 Aotea Lad (7 g Savabeel – Corsage) – Masa Hashizume; he did well for fourth in the Awapuni Gold Cup (Gr. 2, 2100m) on 6 April at Trentham, and contests the $80,000 TAB Anzac Mile (Listed, 1600m). A genuine performer, he is the winner of five including twice over 1600 metres who meets an even field and will require luck from barrier 10. Fixed odds: $14.00 & $4.20.

3.35 p.m. (NZ) ~ 1.35 p.m. (Vic) R2 6 I Choose You (4 m I Am Invincible – Choose) – Michael Dee; she resumed with a track record (1:01.6) victory in the Rating 75 1100 metres on 9 March at Trentham, and finished strongly for third in the Pearl Series Rating 72 Fillies & Mares 1400 metres on 30 March at Ellerslie. Having her first start in Australia, she contests the A$65,000 Benchmark 78 1100 metres for Fillies & Mares. Impressive winning, she is multiple times stakes' placed, acts well in a freshened state, and is ideally drawn (5). NZ TAB fixed odds: $16.00 & $3.60.

4:10 p.m. (NZ) ~ 2:10 p.m. (Vic) R3 7 Prismatic (5 g Savabeel – Kaleidoscope) – Michael Dee; he chased hard for fourth in the Benchmark 84 2040 metres on 23 March at Moonee Valley, and ran home solidly for sixth after being hemmed up in the Benchmark 78 2400 metres on 13 April at Bendigo.
