Amperage (Cameron) and Duchess Kate (Lammas) worked one round together. They ran the 1200m in 1:20.2, last 600m in 37.2. Last start winner Amperage (Zabeel) tackles the $20,000 Rating 65 2100 metres on Saturday at Te Rapa and Duchess Kate (Savabeel), who produced a massive performance for fourth in the $70,000 Sunline Vase (Gr. 3, 2100m) at Ellerslie, lines up in the $300,000 Wellfield New Zealand Oaks (Gr. 1, 2400m) on Saturday at Trentham. She displayed enormous fighting qualities to win the $70,000 Wellfield Desert Gold Stakes (Gr. 3, 1600m) on 30 January at Trentham.

Arpeggio (K. Jones) and Smashing (Lammas) went together over 1000m in 1:05.3, last 600m in 35.6, in very good work. Arpeggio (Tavistock) contests the Rating 85 1400 metres at Te Rapa and Smashing (Pins) prepares for the $50,000 Lightning Stakes (Listed, 1200m) at Trentham.

Chambord (M. Grylls) galloped 1200m in 1:20, 1000m in 1:04 and last 600m in 36.2, ahead of the $25,000 Rating 85 1600 metres at Te Rapa.

Hushed (Leveque) and Love Triangle (M. Grylls) ran 800m in 48, last 600m in 35.5.

Primrose (Fawcett) and 3 f High Chaparral - Star Affair (M. Grylls) went an easy 800m in 52.4, last 600m in 38.4. Sylvia's Special (Leveque) and 2 f Choisir - Mystic Flight (Hanafi) did similar work. Working solo, Lady Pinot (Lammas) went 800m in 54.3.

Preparing to resume in the Rating 65 1200 metres on Thursday at Te Aroha, Tatters (M. Grylls) ran 1000m in 1:11. She was tracked in her work by Flirty Gertey (Leveque).

Highly Likely (R. Jones) and Linchpin (Cameron) went an easy 1000m in 1:12, last 600m in 42.

Maleficent (Hanafi) and Shocking Luck (M. Grylls) ran 800m in 56, last 600m in 38.

Discretely Red (Leveque) and 2 g Pins - Miss Katella (Lammas) ran an easy 800, last 600m in 39.

Rocksun (Cameron) and Royal Success (Richards) went an easy 800m in 52, last 600m in 37.3.

Ebony Star (Fawcett) and Its Our Showtime (K. Jones) ran 800m in 55.5, last 600m in 39.5.

Coincidence (Leveque) and Fastnet Fire (Lammas) went 800m in 53.6, last 600m in 38.7.

Lucy Wyldstyle (Leveque) and 2 g Red Giant - Celtic Class (Richards - main picture ran 800m in 51.7, last 600m in 37.5.

Winehouse (Lammas) and 2 f Redoute's Choice - Scarlett Lady (M. Grylls) went an easy 600m in 42.1. Play for Time (Fawcett) and 3 f Alamosa - Popsy (M. Grylls) did similar work, as did Colorado Prince (Hanafi) and Zip Zap (M. Grylls).
