Matamata - No.2 Sand:


Zip Zap (K. Price) worked over 800 metres in 52.7, last in 39.8.


Summer Monsoon (McNab) was paired with 3f Pins - Lillet (Fawcett) over 800 metres, the pair covered the ground in 51.8, last 600 in 38.3. Summer Monsoon (Stratum) heads to Te Rapa for the 2YO event over 1000 metres following his second at Ruakaka on 12 October .


Shocking Luck (Bourke) ran 1000 metres in 1.08.5, last 600 in 41. The 3YO son of Shocking heads to Hastings on Sunday 6 November for the Maiden 1600 metre event.


Smashing (Winter) worked over 800 metres at three-quarter pace, running her last 600 in 42.4.


Veirmar Racing owned King Kane (McNab) worked with a partner over 1200 metres in 1.16, last 600 in 37.1 while resuming winner at Pukekohe, Princess Davone (Cole) ran 1000 metres in 1.18, last 600 in 46.


Six year old Zabeel gelding Chambord (McNab) preparing for the Cambridge trials on Monday 7 November worked over 800 metres in 55.3, last 600 in 39.9.


Cabaret (Cole) ran 800 metres in 1.01, last 600 in 46.5.


Epic Tale (Fawcett) and Maleficent (Tan) covered 1000 metres in 1.03, last 600 in 36.5.


Stolen Love (Winter) worked 1000 metres 1.07.8, last 600 in 37. and Splurge (McNab) looked good working over 800 in 54.2, last 600 in 39.2.


Trial winner at Waipa, 3g Alamosa - Danewhisper (Lammas) and Don'tblamethemusic (Winter) ran 800 metres in 51.9, last 600 in 38.


3f Redoute's Choice - Scarlett Lady (Leveque) worked in company with Pure Savalina (Fawcett) over 800 metres in 50.9, last 600 in 37.9.


Our Abbadean (Winter) ran 800 metres in 1.03, last 600 in 46.5.


2f Burgundy - A La Votre (Fawcett) and Iffragal (Leveque) worked over 600 metres in 44.7.



Riccarton:


Group One NZ 2000 Guineas' entry Heroic Valour (Cameron) worked with Imperium (Miller) over 1000 metres in 1.02, last 600 in 35.4. Both horses appear in good order leading into their weekend assignments, last start winner Imperium (Encosta De Lago) will be nominated for the Listed Metropolitan Handicap over 2500 metres.  Heroic Valour will be ridden by Michael McNab on Saturday.


Our second Group One NZ 2000 Guineas' entry Hall Of Fame (Cameron) was partnered with Latin Rose (Miller) over 1000 metres in 1.04, last 600 in 36.8. Latin Rose (Mastercraftsman) will be nominated for the Rating 75 1400 metre race on Saturday.  Cameron will stay aboard Hall of Fame for Saturday.


Madame Jamai (Miller) heads to the Listed Pegasus Stakes on Saturday and she worked over 800 metres in 50.2, last 600 in 37.2. Stable jockey Matthew Cameron has been engaged for the ride and she will appreciate the drop in weight.


Love Actually (Miller) and Tavis Star (Cameron) prepared for the their respective Saturday assignments by working over 1000 metres in 1.03, last 600 in 36.5. Love Actually (Swiss Ace) will run in the Rating 65 1200 metre contest while last start winner Tavis Star (Tavistock) will run in the Rating 75 1200 metre race.
