Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday 12 December -

Heavy fog prevented much timing

Plough:

Piper (Newman) and Griffin (K Jones) galloped an easy 800 metres in 56.8.

Race rivals Royal Success (McNab) and Chambord (Bosson) paired up to gallop 1000 metres in 1.04. Both horses are set to contest the $70,000 J Swap Contractors Sprint (Group 3, 1400m) at Te Rapa this Saturday.

Dublin Rose (Lammas) galloped in company over 1000 metres in 1.03. The young filly prepares to race at Te Rapa this Saturday or Ellerslie on Sunday.

King Kane (Bakar) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.11.

Beaumarchais (McNab) and Zambezi Warrior (Bosson) galloped 1200 metres in 1.21.2, last 1000 in 1.03.2. Both horses head to Te Rapa this Saturday to race in their respective events; Beaumarchais - $30,000 Dunstan Feeds 1500 Championship Qualifier (R85, 1600m) and Zambezi Warrior - $100,000 Waikato Cup (Group 3, 2400m).
