Course Proper:
Grand Ariana (S Rusof) and Lady Painton (T Newman) galloped over 1000 metres on a heavy course proper in 1.09, last 600 in 39.7. Grand Ariana prepares for the $50,000 Auckland Futurity Stakes (Listed, 2YO SW 1400m) at Pukekohe on Saturday, while Lady Painton aims toward the Rating 75 1600 metres, also at Pukekohe.
No. 2 Sand:
Readying to race at Hastings on Thursday, Icebomb (T Newman) galloped 1000 metres in 1.07, last 600 in 38.5. She was followed by Witchery (S Rusof) who ran very similar times.
Preparing to trial, Dolce Amore (S Rusof) galloped 600 metres in 41.2.
