Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday 18 September -


Plough:

Jet Set (C Burdan) looked good working at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1.02, last 600 in 44.2.

Readying to resume in the Rating 65 1200 metres at Wanganui on Thursday, Fine Bouquet (C Leveque) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.13.9, last 600 in 43.9.

Motivation (D Miller) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.02.3, last 600 in 46.2.

Avantage (D Johnson) and Don'tblamethemusic (S Rusof) galloped nicely over 1000 metres in 1.06.1, last 600 in 36.4. Avantage is due to resume in the Group 3 Gold Trail Stakes (3YOF SW, 1200m) at Hastings on Saturday while Don'tblamethemusic races in the Rating 72 1300 metres at Taupo on Friday.

Pinot Grey (O Bosson) galloped an easy 800 metres, running the last 600 in 39.5.

Race rivals Our Abbadean (D Johnson) and Melody Belle (S Rusof) looked terrific when galloping over 1200 metres in 1.19.2, home in 36.2. The pair are set to race in the Group 1 Windsor Park Plate (WFA, 1600m) at Hastings on Saturday.

Te Akau Shark (O Bosson) looked good galloping on his own over 1000 metres in 1.05.2, home in 37.2. Te Akau Shark is pencilled in for an exhibition gallop at Taupo races this Friday ahead of racing in the Group 3 Red Badge Spring Sprint (Open, 1400m) at Hastings on Saturday 6 October.

Heading to Taupo for an exhibition gallop alongside Te Akau Shark, Embellish (O Bosson) galloped over 800 metres in 57, last 600 in 39.

Preparing to race in the Maiden 1000 metres at Taupo on Friday, Spirit Of Galway (D Johnson) and Queen Of The Air (S Rusof) galloped over 800 metres in 50, home in 36.4.

She's Not Bad (O Bosson) galloped nicely over an easy 800 metres in 55.3, last 600 in 39.8.

Mongolian Angel (S Rusof) worked solo at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1.02.4, last 600 in 46.

King Kane (O Bosson) worked well over 1000 metres in 1.03.5, home in 36.2. King Kane is set to race in the Rating 72 1300 metres at Taupo on Friday.

Irish Heart (C Leveque) worked on her own at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1.03, last 600 in 45.1.

Boutonniere (O Bosson) and Faltonius (C Burdan) paired up to gallop an easy 600 metres in 40.

D'Oro Mantra (C Leveque) worked at three quarter pace over 600 metres in 46.

2f Rock 'n' Pop - Primo Quest (S Rusof) and 3f Cape Blanco - My Fiancee (M Lambert) worked at three quarter pace over 600 metres in 44.

2g Rip Van Winkle - Nightofpassion (O Bosson) and 2g Rock 'n' Pop - Paixanito (C Burdan) worked at three quarter pace over 600 metres in 43.

2f Savabeel - Indulge (L Miller) and 2f Savabeel - Banchee (N Bakar) worked at three quarter pace over 600 metres in 45 - main picture.
