Te Akau track work highlights -Saturday 14 April –

Course Proper:

Full Of Grace (M McNab) and Quattro Katie (T Newman) galloped 800 metres in 54, home in 39. After drawing wide at Rotorua on Friday, Quattro Katie aims toward debuting in the Maiden 2YO 1100 metres at Matamata next Wednesday.

Qian Gua (S Rusof) galloped nicely over 1200 metres in 1.23.4, last 600 in 39.4. He was followed by Rock Idol (M McNab) who ran similar times. Last start winner Qian Gua readies for the Rating 65 1600 metres at Matamata on Wednesday.

Chadsdale (C Burdan) and The Chaser (N Bakar) paired up to gallop 1000 metres in 1.06, last 600 in 40. Building toward racing at Matamata; Chadsdale prepares for the Rating 70 1400 metres while The Chaser steps up in grade to contest the Rating 65 1200 metres.

Also preparing to race at Matamata, Seirios (S Rusof) and Pacific Coast (M McNab) galloped 1000 metres in 1.08.4, home in 40.2. Seirios aims toward the Maiden 1200 metres and Pacific Coast heads toward the Rating 65 1200 metres.

 

No. 2 Sand:

Status Symbol (C Burdan) galloped nicely over an easy 800 metres, working the last 600 in 41.

Vinevale (K Price) looked good working at three quarter pace over 800 metres, running the last 600 in 44.5. Wandering Eye (N Bakar) also worked over 800 metres, running very similar time.

Byzantine (M McNab) and Publicist (N Bakar) galloped side-by-side over 800 metres in 53, last 600 in 38.4.

Weaponry (McNab) and Total Excess (C Burdan) worked along nicely at three quarter pace over 600 metres in 43.5. Dundeel’s Girl (S Rusof) worked on her own over 600 metres running similar time.

Seaforth Lass (S Rusof) and 2f Pentire – Platinum Blond (T Newman) galloped 800 metres in 52, last 600 in 37.7.

Witchery (K Price) worked very nicely at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1 minute, home in 43.8.

Aquilo (M NcNab) and 2f Savabeel – Ampin (S Rusof) galloped 800 metres in 54, last 600 in 38.8.

Tiffany’s Time (T Newman) and Meteoric Lass (S Rusof) galloped nicely over 1000 metres in 1.05.5, home in 37.7.
