Course Proper:

Embellish (Miller) preparing for his race day debut on Wednesday at Matamata travelled well to the line with a partner over 1000 metres in 1.09, last 600 in 40.

Plough:

Abloom (Fawcett) and Lady Amadeus (Leveque) prepared for Wednesday's Matamata meeting, by working over 1000 metres in 1.06, last 600 in 39. Both fillies have been dual nominated for the Maiden 1400 and Maiden Fillies & Mares 1400 metre events.

Group One Manawatu Sires' Produce nominees Summer Monsoon (Miller) and Melody Belle (McNab) matched strides over 1000 metres in 1.08.2, last 600 in 39.4. Another two heading towards the second Group One for the two-year-olds, Gold Fever (C. Grylls) and Swing Note (McNab) ran their 1000 metres in 1.07.6, last 600 in 39.

Hall Of Fame (Miller) was followed by Heroic Valour (McNab) over 800 metres. The pair was only asked to go at three-quarter pace and both travelled well to the line as they prepare to head to Brisbane for the Winter Carnival.

Beaumarchais (McNab) worked over 1200 metres in 1.24, last 600 in 39.5.

Fastnet Fire (Lammas) looked good working over 1000 metres in 1.04.5, last 600 in 37.5. Its Our Showtime (K. Jones) worked over 1000 metres in 1.01.

Astrid (Fawcett) and Echezeaux (Leveque) were both travelling nicely at the end of 1000 metres in 1.06.2, last 600 in 37.6.

Shocking Luck (Miller) was given an easy hit out over 1000 metres in 1.13, last 600 in 43 while another bound for Brisbane in Zambezi Warrior (Pinn) covered 1000 metres in 1.09.9, last 600 in 41.2.

Rocksun (Pinn) strode out over 800 metres in 57.9, last 600 in 42.8.

Tatters (Lammas) worked in company with Princess Davone (Lammas) over 1000 metres in 1.06, last 600 in 38.9.

3f Pins - Lillet (K. Price) and 3f Mastercraftsman - Gardd (Tan) worked over 800 metres at three-quarter pace, running 15 second splits.

Brer (Leveque) worked 2 laps, increasing his pace from the 1400m, he ran his last 1200 metres in 1.17.6, last 600 in 38.
