Raced by Chris Rutten and Little Avondale Trust, this two year old colt became his sire Belardo's first New Zealand stakes' winner when claiming the $50,000 Listed Frantic Bloodstock Welcome Stakes 2YOSW 1000m at Riccarton in November 2020.

Sporting the colours of Champion 2YO and dual Group 1 winner Yourdeel, and ridden by Opie Bosson, Avonallo becomes Te Akau's seventh Listed Welcome Stakes' winner - behind Maroofity (2002), Xbert (2005), Encosta Diablo (2009), Bespoke (2010), Sassy "n" Smart (2015)  and Al Hasa (2017).

He has raced three times for a win and two second placings, with stakes' earnings of $33,750.
