Icepin

Aced by Herbie Dyke and trained by Mark Walker and then Jason Bridgman, Icepin was runner up in the Special Listed 2010 $1 million Karaka Million.  He followed this with a smart all the way win in the Group 3 Waikato Stud 2YO Classic at Taranaki on 20 February 2010.  With Jason Bridgman as his Te Akau trainer, he was a close runner up in the Group 2 Hawkes Bay Guineas in October 2010.  Follwing that, he was runner up in the Group 2 Great Northern Guineas in December before rolling home for second in the Karaka 3YO Mile in January 2011.  Icepin then won the Group 2 Avondale Guineas in style in February 2011.  He has won four of his fourteen starts for over $350,000 in stakes. He was sold to Hong Kong in mid 2011.
