At start 12 he recorded his sixth career win for trainers Stephen Autridge and Jamie Richards, when winning the Group 3 J Swap Contractors Open Sprint 1400m at Te Rapa on 16 December 2017 with Cameron Lammas aboard.
In fact it was a Te Akau quinella with another David Ellis purchase, Chambord, running into bad luck and rallying well to finish just a head away in second.
A horse that needs to have his races well spaced, he has now won $120,685 from his six wins and three second placings.
