A Fabulous Wee Filly

We want to share some very exciting news with you - Mexican Rose has foaled a stunning filly by Burgundy and as you can see from the photo kindly sent through by the Waikato Stud team, she's a ripper!

Mexican Rose was a star performer on the track, winning two from three starts as a two year old in New Zealand before being taken to race in Singapore by her Singapore based owner.

In Singapore she soon made an impact winning eight of her 11 starts including the $200,000 Group 3 Magic Millions Juvenile Championship (1200m) in July 2009, the $200,000 Group 3 Merlion Trophy (1200m) in March 2010 and the $200,000 Group 3 Kranji Sprint (1200m) in April 2010.

Her success saw her earn $624,611 in stake money in Singapore where she was crowned the Champion 2YO and Champion 3YO.  She now resides at Te Akau and will be served by O'Reilly shortly.
