The 2026 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale is now well underway, and Te Akau Racing has once again made a confident and decisive start on the Gold Coast.
Across the first two days of the sale, Te Akau secured 10 high-quality yearlings, each selected through the same disciplined and proven process that has underpinned our decades of success at this sale. With a focus on elite bloodlines, athleticism, and physical presence, the 2026 Magic Millions' team is already taking shape.
A strong opening sets the tone
Day 1 saw Te Akau strike early, opening proceedings with authority and clarity of intent. From the very first lot, the buying team moved decisively, adding quality and depth to the tangerine team as the day unfolded. Proven sire lines featured prominently, alongside value-driven opportunities that offered both upside and balance - a hallmark of Te Akau’s long-standing approach at the Gold Coast.
That momentum carried seamlessly into Day 2, where Te Akau once again wasted no time entering the ring. A standout filly was secured early in the session, followed by further quality additions as the buying team continued to execute with confidence and consistency.
