A Quick Gingernuts' Update

Thank you again everyone for the total love that is pouring in for Gingernuts aka Jerry.

As you will know, Jerry had surgery on his pastern in Melbourne on Monday following his CT scan and four lag screws were inserted.

The surgery went as well as we could expect and he is settled and is just at the very start of his rehabilitation road.

Our beautiful boy is being a model patient (absoutely no surprises there) and is in no pain - he is being superbly well cared for.

We are just so fortunate that this injury did not occur during the race as we probably wouldn't have him with us any longer.  Thank you again to everyone for every single deed and thought that saved him and gives everyone involved with him - most importantly his owners and our team - so much comfort and hope.

Humbled.
