Absolutely Amazing

Snitzel has once again cemented his status as one of the greatest sires of our time, proving his dominance over the weekend with back-to-back elite-level victories.

On Saturday, his daughter Marhoona stormed home to win the world’s richest two-year-old race, the Group 1 Golden Slipper, marking Snitzel’s third winner of the prestigious race in just eight years. Then, on Sunday, Snitzel was at it again, with his son Cap Ferrat scoring an unforgettable triumph in the Group 1 Hong Kong Derby, securing his first career win in the HK$26 million feature.

And guess what!!

For those wanting to share in the legacy of this incredible sire, we have an exciting opportunity available. We have only 10% now available in our outstanding Snitzel colt out of Toffee Tongue.

We struck early at the Magic Millions' sale and were able to buy Lot 37 our Snitzel/Toffee Tongue for fantastic value.

This colt looks everything you want in a racehorse - precocious, athletic, and richly bred for success. He has already been broken in and will head to our Cranbourne stable in the coming days. With his early education complete and a pedigree dripping with Group 1 success, he is primed for an exciting career on the track.

Our outstanding colt is out of Group 1 Australasian Oaks winner Toffee Tongue, from the family of Hong Kong Derby winner and Horse of the Year, Werther and VRC Derby winner Tarzino - exceptional bloodlines.

This colt looks every bit a Sires’ Produce Stakes' contender at two and has the pedigree to train on to win classic at three and beyond!

Don't forget Te Akau delivered a Snitzel colt trifecta in the recent Group 3 Matamata Slipper, with the winner Return To Conquer, going on to win the group 1 Sistema Stakes on Champ[ion's Day, maintaining his unbeaten record. Runner up and third placed He Who Dares and To Bravery Born.

At nearly 23 years of age, Snitzel continues to defy time, delivering high-class performers year after year. Now with 23 Group 1 winners and 155 stakes' winners worldwide, at 9.6 per cent of runners - Marhoona was the stallion’s 60th juvenile stakes winner and eighth Group 1-winning two-year-old. In Australia alone, he has 143 black type victors at 10.3 per cent – a remarkable rate to sustain through 16 crops running.

Arrowfield Stud’s John Messara summed it up best:

“He’s a perennial super stallion – that’s all I can say. Three of the past eight Slipper winners; it’s very good. He’s an amazing stallion, a wonderful stallion.”

Snitzel’s ability to consistently sire elite racehorses is unparalleled. His progeny have not only dominated Australian racing but have also made their mark on the international stage. His offspring are known for their speed, toughness, and ability to perform at the highest level, making them some of the most sought-after racehorses in the world.

The fact that Snitzel leads Australia in stakes' winners this season is a testament to his ongoing influence, with Marhoona becoming his 14th stakes' winner for the term.

Entering Saturday fifth on the general sires’ table by earnings, he’s now sprung to the top of the two-year-old premiership, which he won in 2023, 2020, 2018 and 2017.

Snitzel’s track record speaks for itself, and with progeny like Marhoona and Cap Ferrat continuing to fly the flag, there has never been a better time to invest in his bloodline. Don’t miss this chance to secure your share in a colt with the potential to be his next star. Opportunities like this don’t come around often - get in touch today to be part of the journey!
