Sadly, New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing has announced Sunday's Ashburton meeting, a key meeting lead-up to Cup Week, has been called off:

"Due to surface water flooding the track and stalls the Ashburton races today have been abandoned – more information regarding rescheduling to follow."
