Ashburton Now Racing Monday

As you will know, the Ashburton meeting was called off on Saturday due to safety issues with the track.

New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing and the Ashburton Racing Club have now announced that racing will take place (previous draws stand) tomorrow Monday 20 October.

Te Akau has three stable runners - Madame Jamai in the maiden event and Flaming and Darci's Dream in the Listed Ray Coupland Stakes which jumps at 4:05pm.  Te Akau has won this race six times (plus one winner relegated - meaning seven first home) and last year provided the quinella - Costa Viva beating Chambord (main picture).
