The leading sire of stakes' winners in New Zealand so far this season is Burgundy!

Burgundy's progeny have won three black type races (two runners) this season already with the next best stallion being Iffraaj who has won one (Gingernuts).

Yesterday at the Matamata training track our team uncovered another really good one, no surprise there.

Pretty much every Burgundy that we have in the stable is going to win races - they have beautiful temperaments and are very easy horses to train.  Just like he was.

There are only two nominations left before Burgundy's book is full and closed off at Cambridge Stud.

What an exciting stallion he is going to be!
