The Te Akau selected, purchased and trained Darci Brahma will stand at $40,000 this new season.
The 2013 Oaks Stud stallion line-up sees the exciting young sire DARCI BRAHMA as the headline act with his new fee set at $40,000.
Darci was selected by David Ellis who bought him in 2004 for $1.1 million, making him the top priced lot of the Karaka Premier Sale. Trained by Te Akau's Mark Walker, he won five Group 1 races including the Group 1 TJ Smith in Australia as a two year old. He was named Champion 2YO, Champion 3YO and Champion Sprinter/Miler as a 4YO.
With three crops to race and his eldest progeny just April four-year-olds, Darci Brahma has already sired FOUR GROUP ONE WINNERS and a total 23 STAKES HORSES.
Darci Brahma's sire stats already compare exceptionally well against Australasia's top stallions - these impressive stats achieved by him without the benefit of having older runners to boost them.
