Te Akau Singapore trainer Mark Walker had Zac Star Destroyer primed to the minute when the gelding notched up his fourth career win at Kranji on Friday evening.

Ridden by former New Zeaand based apprentice Harry Kasim, the 7YO by Cape Cross with only 50kgs on his back, Zac Star Destroyer settled in fourth place and steadily improved in the straight to win narrowly in the S$35,000 Class 5 1100m.

Raced by the Zac Stable, great supporters of the stable, Zac Star Destroyer has now won $141,440 in the career of four wins and 14 other placings.

Stablemate Hellolo also went a tidy race to be 2.5 lengths behind the winner in fourth place.

The win was Mark Walker's eighth of the season - that tally so tantalisingly close to being much higher when you realise that the stable has also trained 19 runners up and 14 third placegetters - many of those missing out by the barest of margins.

Te Akau Racing Singapore has already passed the S$500,000 mark in stakes won for our owners, with not even three months of the new season complete.
