We are bowled over - to coin a phrase - Te Akau Racing is thrilled and privileged that Brendon McCullum's Vermair Racing has again entrusted our stable to train for it.

Vermair Racing is New Zealand Black Caps' captain Brendon McCaullum's brainchild and has been established by this star sportsman to enjoy and follow his great passion of racing - and share this with others.

At the Karaka Yearling Sale (main picture of Brendon with David Ellis), Vermair Racing purchased a No Excuse Needed filly who Te Akau Racing trains - she has broken in beautifully and is close to returning to the stable.

At this week's Ready to Run Sale, Vermair Racing has purchased two colts and we are proud that today Racing Manager Hamish Chapman has confirmed that Vermair has chosen Te Akau Racing to train both - Lot 28 an Echoes of Heaven colt out of a Towkay mare Replicate and Lot 112 a Showcasing colt out of the Van Nistelrooy mare Vannista Belle.
