Guineas' Prospects at Ashburton

The Informant reports:

Two leading Gr. 1 New Zealand Bloodstock 1000 Guineas hopefuls will be put through their paces at Ashburton tomorrow.

The Stephen Autridge and Jamie Richards-trained Windborne and Special Memories (pictured when winning) will gallop between races as they prepare for a tilt at black-type racing.

“Windborne and Special Memories will gallop between races two and three,” Richards said.

“We've got a team of seven horses in the South Island at present and they will be down there until Cup week. It's a recipe that has worked well for Te Akau in the past.”
