Happy Birthday, David Ellis CNZM

Today we wish a very happy birthday to David Ellis, the founder, driving force and heart of Te Akau Racing.

The past year has been one of wonderful memories but it's fair to say, also challenge - yet through it all, David’s passion for racing, his love of the horse, his dedication to our owners, and his unwavering commitment to excellence have remained as strong as ever - as has his love of his family.

David’s vision, courage and leadership have shaped Te Akau Racing into what it is today: a world-class, trans-Tasman operation built on hard work, innovation, loyalty and results. Just as importantly, he has created a team culture founded on respect - for the horses, for our owners, and for one another.

Every day, David leads by example, and it is a privilege for all of us to be part of the team he has built. We are incredibly proud to walk beside him and to share in the successes, challenges and moments that make this sport so special.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to our owners and supporters for their kindness, loyalty, and unwavering support over the past year. Your belief in Te Akau Racing means more than words can express.
