We love receiving emails like this - and we thought we just had to share - thank you so much for sending this you two, it means a lot to the whole team!!

"What a pleasure it was to be on course yesterday to cheer on the two Te Akau runners in the Group One. Spellbinder with Matt (Mum's blue eyed boy) was our little pet. That Group One win is proving very elusive for him to get!! However we were very pleased to see Costa Viva finish so strongly with Spellbinder fighting solidly for third.
 
"What a day it was - I have never experienced a meeting like it - the crowd, the fashions (would be fair to say I suspect many people with very sore heads this morning and struggling to remember the events of the day before)  however the crowd was very well behaved.
 
"The whole team effort involved from purchase through to the results seen today on the track just proves how the Te Akau recipe is second to none. Very proud of all the team and even more proud to be part of it as owners, albeit very small share holders. You never know we maybe lucky enough to be back next year watching either DT or Mia (or both !!)  during the carnival."
