Homeward Bound

Yes it is time to say goodbye to Australia - not that we don't enjoy Australia but as you know, this trip was fraught with the unexpected!

David expected to come over to the Gold Coast for just over a week and ended up being here three and a half weeks.  Karyn's emergency run for what we thought could be 5-7 days turned into one day short of three weeks.

So as the song goes - "so long it's been good to know you" - that is how we feel about leaving Australia and heading back to the green grass of Te Akau and home!  Karyn can't wait to see her "fur babies" aka the dogs and David sure as heck is itching to get out around the farm.

More tomorrow as we have a plane to catch!
