Last night Te Akau won the Karaka Million with a horse Stephen and Jamie train called Melody Belle - she was bought by David this time last year for only $57,500!  last night she won TEN times her purchase price.

it was almost a notable double with Heroic Valour, a colt David bought for our Colt Syndicate (and limited shares are available in this for 2017) - he is already a Group 1 and Listed winner and was beaten only a nose in the $250,000 Karaka Mile.
