It's Season Win 160

A huge thank you to all our Te Akau owners for their support this season.  As we enter into the final four weeks of the 2020/21 season - our first full season post-COVID lockdown - there is so much to reflect on.

So much hard and dedicated work by a team of highly professional and passionate people has resulted in the record beating results we have enjoyed.

Yesterday it was confirmed that we have won our 160th race for the season which is a massive thrill for Karyn and me - and we would like to congratulate all of our owners for their incredible loyalty and involvement.

At the start of the season, my goal was for the stable to win 150 races so we have well and truly succeeded in doing that.  We cannot achieve these results without your incredible enthusiasm and support.

Total prize money won for our owners this season in New Zealand and Australia is well over $7 million - what a great achievement by Jamie and our whole team.

This season we have syndicated 74 horses so far and every share in every horse has been sold.  There is so much demand for our shares that we will once again soon be offering shares in two quality weanlings, a Darci Brahma colt and a Heroic Valour filly - so watch this space!

The 'firepower' we have in the stable is the best I have ever seen.  We are in for a truly exciting 2021/22 season which kicks off officially on 1 August.

So the new season is now just four weeks away and I understand that next week there may be some very good news coming our way regarding stakes for the new season.  Congratulations to the TAB and NZTR - we are heading in the right direction.
