Just some 20 Lots after his first purchase at the Inglis Easter Sale, David Ellis was back in action securing a second filly - a beautifully put-together Pierro filly - for A$160,000.

A great moving, very athletic filly - we are hugely excited to be bringing her back to New Zealand - and shares are available now!

Lot 56 from the draft of Coolmore Stud her dam is a Hurricane Run mare who is a half sister to the 2014/15 Champion Miler in Australia Contributor.  He won eight races from 1400m to 2017m, earning $1,18 million in prize money. Included in his victories were the Sydney Group 1 Ranvet Stakes and Group 1 Apollo Stakes, Group 2 Chipping Norton Stakes and the Group 3 David Jones Cup at Moonee Valley.

Contributor was also a Listed winner and Group 2 performer at Royal Ascot!

This filly's grandmother was a stakes' winner in France as was her great grandmother and there is an overflow of international stakes' success in this family - e.g. Glory Power, Stones Roses, Straight Right, Sotteville, Mayyadah - all winners at the elite level.
