Life is Good at Te Akau

Te Akau Racing is one of the very few stables in Matamata, Cambridge and other training centres that does not train its horses "out of their horse box" - or out of their stable/stall.

It's a huge advantage being able to put our horses out into nice green paddocks after track work each day - it is an expensive way to train horses but we believe that it adds an extra edge to the preparation of our horses - they love being able to get out and relax, have a roll and a snooze!
