ANZ Bloodstock News has highlighted Te Akau trained Vive La Difference as its "Maiden of the Week" following her impressive win at Te Rapa on Wednesday.

The popular daily news bulletin stated:

The lightly-raced filly Vive La Difference created a very good impression with this win. She did not show much early pace and settled a long way back, racing near last in the 13-horse field. She was still conceding the leader about ten lengths on turning for home but she produced a great turn of foot, storming up to hit the lead nearing the post to score impressively. She looks to have the makings of a quality filly. An inexpensive purchase, the filly is one of two foals to race out of the winning mare L'Artiste (Peintre Celebre), who has also produced Proserpina (Testa Rossa), a winner over 1600 metres at Seymour.
