Te Akau Singapore trainer Mark Walker has made a cracking start to the new Singapore season which commenced on 1 January 2015.

Things got underway with a flying start on the first day of racing at Kranji when Mark recorded a winning treble and the winners have kept coming since.  There is no question that it is only a matter of time until he wins a Premiership title - to add to his five in New Zealand.

Mark has another nice team racing tonight in Singapore - we always preview the runners and you can check them out on our "starters" page.  Our New Zealand owners with horses in Singapore under Mark's guidance are loving the experience and the stakes of course!

Mark currently leads the Trainers' premiership table with nine wins, seven seconds and 15 thirds placings.  Te Akau Singapore has earned almost $450,000 in stakes in just four weeks of the new season. Check out the latest standings here:

We now only have six places available on our May trip to Singapore to take in two days' racing - whilst we can't guarantee that every owner will see their horse race, Mark does his very best to have a good team lined up for that weekend - and at the very least you will get up close and personal with the horses during our stable visit.  It's great fun - so contact Karyn if you want to join David and Karyn - [email protected] - Mark and Julia are very much looking forward to welcoming the team.

Our New Zealand stable also continues to boast an excellent strike rate of 5.81 - Jason remains in the top five trainers with 31 winners, 29 runners-up and 19 third placings - for stakes of $677,275.
