Matamata Thursday Trackwork

Listed Karaka 3YO Mile candidate Rockfast (Cameron) showed his readiness for Sunday as he galloped in company with Sequitur (Miller) on a good plough, was timed from the 1200m in 1:17.5 and ran home the final 600m in 37.1.

Bearelite (Coleman) hit out nicely over 1000m in 1:10.8 and 41.3 while Miss Oldfields Road (Ormsby) took 1:08.8 and 38.7 for the distance with Equanimity (Cameron) doing similar work in 1:08.4 and 39.1 and Reaching Out (Coleman) was not after time, clocking the distance in 1:14 and 43. Agent Ziva (A Jones) was keen in her work over 1000m in 1:08.1 and 37.1.

Massofdash (S Collett) was strong over 1000m in 1:01.5 and 37.2 as were the pair of Panella (A Jones) and Bahrella in a speedy 1:02.1 and 36.3 while Is This Love (R Jones) worked solo over the trip in 1:02 and 36.5.

Also galloping 1000m on the plough were Irish Heartbeat (Cole) in 1:07 and 40.5, Silk Chardonnay (A Jones) in 1:08 and 36.2, Flash Harry (Brosnan) with Chaos (Roff) in 1:03.4 and 37.5, Ali (Cole) with High Viz (A Jones) in 1:03.2 and 36, Apache Fireworks (Roff) in 1:05.9 and 41.3 and Moneymakehersmile (Brosnan) in 1:04.4 and 38.6.

Green Easy (Sapsworth) galloped solo over 1200m in 1:22 and 37.6 as did Centre Stage (R Jones) in an easy 1:28 and 43.8.  The trio of He's No Saint (Coleman), My Secret (Amrut) and Quintastics (Amit) galloped single file over 1200m in 1:22.6 and the final 600m in 37.8.

On the all-weather track Crystalite (Rhodes) and Funhouse (Grylls) were strong over 1000m in 1:02.7 and 36.5 while stable mates Great Expectations (Rhodes) and Jubilate (Grylls) strode the distance in 1:11.8 and 40.8 with Ratmansky (Sapsworth) and Speedy Jax (Rika) covering 1200m in 1:19 and 38.
