Matamata Thursday Trackwork

Abidewithme (Samuelsson) had her final work in preparation for Hastings, working on the plough over 1200m in 1:23 and 39.2. Also for Hastings, Wolfwhistle (Allan) covered 1200m in 1:23.7 and 40.2 while Hawke's Bay Guineas contender Rockfast (Lammas) went solo over 1000m in 1:09.5 and came home in 40.2.

Chambord (Hercock), headed for next week's Matamata Cup over 1600m, hit out 1200m in an easy 1:27.4 and 41.4. Miss Mossman (Grylls) was in hand over 1200m in 1:30 and 45.2 while stable mate Kaleidescope (Chong) went a swift 1:05 and 37.2 the final 600m. Costa Viva easily strode over 1200m in 1:25.3 and 39.6.

Likely entrants for Taupo Wednesday that worked on the plough - Prince Henry (Lammas) galloped 1200m in 1:23.6 and 38.9; Alchemy's Flight (Cameron) 1:22.2 and 38.2; Bettorock (Roff) with Equanimity (Sayed) 800m in 53.6 and 38.5; Ambrosini (King) with So Glamorous (Jones) 1000m in 1:10 and 39.2; Mary Quant (Coleman) and Suffire (Hutton) 1000m in 1:07 and 39.2.

Also on the plough, Donni Brasco (J McKay) and Oblivion (S McKay) worked together in a strong 1:04.2 and 37.

Deebee Don (Moody) stretched out nicely over 1000m in 1:13.7, easily working his last 600m in 41.7. O'Reilly's Gold (Brosnan) worked the same distance in 1:05 and 36.5.
Sophisticate (A Jones)  and King's Rock (Cameron) both worked over ground with Sophisticate timed in 1:26 and 39.5 while King's Rock went a shade faster in 1:24.2 and 38.8.

On the course proper, Graphic (Grylls)  was accompanied by  Kelly Jane over 1000m in 1:11.

Canterino (P McKay) galloped a sharp 36.5 his last 600m on his second lap on the all-weather.
