Course proper (Slow):

Got the Snitz (Zainal) and No Tricks (Miller) worked together over 1000 metres in 1:09.9, last 600m in 39.5.

Opulent (McNab) galloped 1000m in 1:12.6 and last 600m in 43.3, after being late scratched yesterday because of downgrading track conditions during the meeting at Matamata. Opulent (Keeper) has been entered for the Maiden 1600 metres on Saturday at Te Rapa, dependent on reasonable footing.

Contesting the Rating 65 2100 metres on Saturday at Te Rapa, Longbeach (Miller) worked over ground to clock 1:28.3 for the 1200m and 41.5 for the last 600m.

Light Source (Zainal), Sequitur (Miller) and 3 g Saperavi - Eclectic Heights (Samuelsson) went together over 1000m in 1:02.3.
