Te Akau track work Tuesday December 23

Te Akau has a team of eleven horses nominated to race on Boxing Day: eight at Ellerslie, and three at Awapuni.

Course proper (Dead):

Abidewithme (Samuelsson) worked over 1200 metres in 1:21.9, last 600m in 38.2. A talented weight-for-age performer, Abidewithme (Redoute's Choice) gets her chance in the Zabeel Classic (Gr. 1, 2000m).

Sand track:

Flirty Gertey (Samuelsson) worked over 1000m in 1:24, last 600m in 40.6. Flirty Gertey (Thorn Park) contests the Rating 75 1400 metres at Ellerslie.

Entered for the Rating 75 1500 metres at Awapuni, Show No Emotion (Hercock) went 1200m at three-quarter pace. In the Rating 65 1200 metres, Alchemy's Flight (Roff) went 1000m three-quarter.

Star of Greenbeel (Miller) ran 1000m in 1:10.4, last 600m in 41, preparing to debut in the Maiden 1300 metres at Awapuni.

For the meeting on Dec. 27 at Rotorua, Maestro (Miller) went 1200m in 1:23.2, 1000m in 1:08 and last 600m 39.9.

Scheduled for the second day at Ellerslie, Dec. 28, Madame Jamai (Miller) worked over 1200m in 1:24.8, last 600m in 40.

Three-quarter pace on the sand track:

Bronte Lass (Samuelsson) worked over 800m.
