“She's a very precocious type of filly, a real two-year-old type, by the boom sire I Am Invincible and her dam sire Flying Spur is doing a terrific job with his broodmares. The second dam is by champion sire Rory's Jester and the page is full of black type two-year-old form.
“She is a filly that we'll bring home, will be nominated for the ($3.5m) Golden Slipper and she looks a Christmas two-year-old.
“She is closely related to the inform stallion Not A Single Doubt (Redoute's Choice), last season's champion stallion,†he said.
I Am Invincible was leading first season sire in Australia, by winners and earnings, and early in his stallion career has progeny that have won 17 stakes races.
Also, this filly already has very strong residual value, given the performers within the family and her older half-sister, Hussterics (Hussonet), has left the winning two-year-old stakes winner Lady Jivago (Beneteau).
Lady Jivago drew clear after sustaining a big finish to win the $250,000 Inglis Classic in February last year at Rosehill.
Of interest, I Am Invincible two-year-old filly Houtzen has rocketed into equal ($4) favouritism for the $2m Magic Millions 2YO Classic this Saturday (Jan. 14) on the Gold Coast. But she has drawn the outside barrier.
