We are now in the thick of organising the night of the year for any Te Akau Owner - the Te Akau Soirée!
WHEN - Saturday 13th August - 6.00pm
WHERE - Ellerslie Racecourse
It will be an evening of fun and surprises, exciting guests (to be announced this week) and importantly, we will be all supporting a wonderful charity.
David and Karyn are hugely proud Co-Patrons of EquiPotential New Zealand (formerly Hamilton Riding for the Disabled). This dynamic organisation changes lives, making a fundamental and crucial difference in our community. Now an independent organisation with no national funding, EquiPotential's innovation in developing new programmes is world-class. We are privileged to work alongside people whose dedication knows no bounds, whose hunger for improving our society is irrepressible, whose determination to reach far beyond traditional boundaries has to be seen to be believed. There will be an auction with a Guest Auctioneer and 100% of the proceeds will go to EquiPotential!
Te Akau Soirée will celebrate the season's success as a new season kicks off, as well as support an organisation that we can all be proud of. Dress up, meet other friends and supporters of Te Akau, yes even dance. We will have tables of 10 available and we can seat owners involved in a horse together. So invite friends and family, business colleagues, even the boss, we promise to impress him/her for you! It will be a chance to catch up with some very familiar faces, and one or two that will surprise you! It will be a night to remember!
